A Ballard tradition since 1974!

SeafoodFest began as a community celebration of Ballard's historic connection to the fishing industry and the neighborhood's Nordic roots.  Today, this free two-day festival attracts over 65,000 people who come to enjoy the traditional salmon barbecue and much more: local music, arts and crafts, family entertainment, a beer garden, a skate event, and yes - more seafood! 

Festival Hours: 
Friday, July 7th: 5pm-10pm
Saturday, July 8th: 11am-10pm
Sunday, July 9th: 11am-9pm

Magdalena Cooney is a Seattle based artist who manipulates acrylic and watercolor paints on mixed media boards to create layers of fascinating sensual swirls of emotion and texture.  Her choice of color palettes reflects her two homes... echoes of the famous red and orange rooftops of her Czech birthplace, contrast the cool and gray blue tones inspired by the every-changing skies of her resident Seattle.  

Enjoy the company of this talented artist and our fabulous selves, along with wine and hors d'oeuvres Saturday, June 10th between 6-9pm.  

You'll definitely want to be here on Artwalk night for the best selection... but if you can't make it on the 10th... don't worry!  We will have her work up throughout the rest of June and July!
